Fergie's Fun Fright History
A Halloween Tradition
The haunted house tradition began in 1997 by father, James, and daughter Charlene, who shared a love of Halloween. In 2002, James passed away, leaving to Charlene his legacy of sharing the Halloween spirit with her family and the neighboring families.
In 2010, Charlene brought back the haunted house when her oldest son - born two days before Halloween - wanted a Halloween themed birthday party. She made it an annual tradition until moving away in 2019.
Charlene became a resident of Boulder City in 2022, and in October 2023 brought the Annual "Fergie's Fun Fright", named in honor of her father, to share her unique brand of the Halloween spirit with our community.
Filled with animatronics, strobe lights, black lights, and a variety of ever-changing themes, this maze is a cool and fun exploration of the many sides of Halloween. Open to all ages, there is a "scary" side and a more "Halloween-sensitive" side, making the experience enjoyable for everyone.
Fergie's Fun Fright is a neighborhood attraction built and designed for our community and for everyone that enjoys the Halloween spirit! Everything displayed is funded personally because of my love for Halloween and the joy it brings to visitors, young and old.
Charlene believes in giving back to her community, and - in lieu of charging admission - partners with and is an official item drop off location for Emergency Aid of Boulder City. I rely on word of mouth and our amazing community to share the excitement of this event, so please help spread the word to friends, family and neighbors.
